Mischa Barton and Nadia Elena Comaneci
Mischa barton was born on January 24, 1986, in Hammersmith, England. On the television series The O.C. she played Marissa Cooper a socialite. In The Sixth Sense a film of suspense, she also starred. She also appeared in The Sixth Sense, another suspense thriller. It was among the most watched TV series. The O.C., a hugely popular TV show in which she was a star. Benjamin McKenzie played her love-interest. Benjamin McKenzie played her romantic interest. Barton first made an appearance on TV in 1994 playing a young Corvina Lang, in flashbacks from the soap opera All My Children. Then in 1996 she returned to All My Children, replacing Michelle Trachtenberg who played Lily Benton Montgomery. Katie Singer was guest-starred on eight episodes in the TV series Once and Again, as Jessie Samueller's (Evan Rachel Wood) love-interest. In 2001, she was back on film and starred in the independent Canadian drama Lost and Delirious based on the novel The Wives of Bath by Susan Swan. Barton together with co stars Jessica Pare, Piper Perabo had mixed receptions. Julie Johnson, a 2001 film starring Lili Taylor as well as Courtney Love in which she played the lesbian daughter of an adulterous female. Barton played a minor part in the independent teenage drama Tart (2001) with Brad Renfro and Dominique Swain. Nadia Elena Comaneci..........................At the 1976 Olympics a 14-year-old Romanian captured the hearts and minds of the world with her daring and perfectio earning seven perfect tens three gold medals one silver and one bronze. In Romania she was hailed as a hero. Comaneci won two additional medals of gold to her total of nine in the Olympics four years later. Comaneci's Olympic total was increased to 9 medals when, in 1980, she took home two golds and two silver at the Olympics. In April of 1996, Comaneci married American Olympic Champion Bart Conner and they have one son Dylan Paul. Bart Conner Gymnastics Academy and other business related to gymnastics are managed by the couple. Comaneci serves as an executive board member of the Special Olympics International Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Laureus Sports For Good Foundation. In addition, she continues to support a variety of charitable organizations across Romania, including those at the Nadia Comaneci Children's Hospital.
