Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress who is famous for her parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. The actress was initially famous for her 1980s role in Tezaab where she co-starred alongside veteran actor Anil Koopor. In the next film, Dil, Aamir Khan appeared as well. Born into the Mumbai middle-class family and began dancing when she was a child. She began acting when she was a youngster and struggled for a few years as most of her initial films failed. Eventually she became one the top actresses from Indian film. Following her marriage she had a career break before reentering the industry. In recent years, Dixit was a key player on Gulaab Gang a movie about the struggles of women in India. Dixit won the film eight Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri is the fourth highest civilian honor in India. Her fame is based on her charitable work as well.
